Race day- May 14th: Streets of Willow.
Following practice warm-up #2, Matias(S2) was second overall just under a tenth from Ryon Beachner(S1). Going into qualifying, Matias made 3 laps, putting himself on pole position by 9 tenths in his class and 5th overall. As heat 1 came around, Matias got passed going into the first turn by Nicholas Freytag, but by the end of the first lap, Matias passed Freytag for the lead to go on and take the win in heat 1. Going into heat 2, on the 1st lap, Matias' engine seized and he had to forfeit and start in the back for the main. Coming around to the main, Matias' mechanics and engine builder Darcy Decoste (DDR) fixed the engine just in time to start the race. As Matias went into the main in last position, He got up to 2nd place behind Freytag after the 3rd turn. Going into turn 8, Matias made the pass and took over P1 in the first lap. Matias then went to take the lead for the rest of the race and keep a steady distance from the other contenders to take the win in S2 at PKCS round 4 at Streets of Willow.
